Non-contact measurement gives operators reliable level data without placing a probe into the medium. Sonicont® USN continuously measures and switches levels in liquids, pastes and coarse bulk solids, and also supports volume measurement as well as flow measurement at open channels and weirs.
The device adapts to demanding applications through measuring ranges of 2 m, 5 m or 8 m and a high accuracy of ≤± 2mm or ± 0.2% of the set measuring range. A bright, high-contrast TFT-LCD graphic display, three-key operation and rotatable housing and display support clear reading and setup in different mounting positions.
Integrated evaluation electronics provide 0/4...20 mA, 0...10 V and versions with 2 or 4 PNP switching outputs. Bluetooth® 2.1 and a battery-supported data logger with timestamp are available by configuration, while PVDF wetted sensor material, stainless steel process connection and ingress protection (IP65/IP67) support use in harsh industrial environments.
The transmitter monitors, controls and continuously measures level using ultrasonic technology for non-contact operation.
