PC connection is simpler when the converter is built into the cable. RS48 provides an RS485 connection cable with integrated USB/RS485 converter, linking the PC through a USB connector and the instrument side through 3 separate wires.
The cable is suitable for models with RS485 Modbus output only. It gives technicians a defined connection option for PC-based access to compatible RS485 Modbus instruments without using a separate external converter.
