Residual oxygen measuring system for MAP quality control

RESOX 5695

Residual oxygen measuring system for MAP quality control, measuring O2 at temperature from 0.0 ... 50.0 °C and air pressure from 300 ... 5000 hPa. It provides 10-20 s readings, data logging and watertight IP 65 / IP 67 protection.

Introduction

Quality checks on modified atmosphere packaging need clear residual oxygen values without slowing the line. This measuring system supports MAP food product packages and comparable applications with fast readings in 10-20 s, helping operators verify package atmosphere directly at the point of control.

The gas pump GS 150 improves handling for rigid packages and packages with low quantities of gas. A slim sensor housing, hose connection and puncture needle setup support practical sampling, while pressure compensation in the gas path helps compensate negative pressure in the package or on the sensor.

Two versions cover different gas conditions: ResOx 5695-H uses the GOEL 370 sensor for gases with elevated CO2 percentage, while ResOx 5695-L uses the GOEL 381 sensor for precise measurement above 35 % vol. or below 0.3 % vol. O2. Data logging, GLP functions, adjustable analog output and watertight ingress protection IP 65 / IP 67 add confidence for routine quality control.

Fast package checks
Readings are available in 10-20 s, supporting quick quality control of MAP packages.
Handles low gas volumes
The low flow gas pump supports rigid packages and packages with low quantities of gas.
Protected sampling
A filter membrane helps prevent particles or fluid from being suctioned into the sensor.
Watertight system
Device and sensor are watertight with ingress protection (IP) 65 / IP 67.
Traceable logging
Automatic logging stores 10,000 data records with selectable cycles from 1 s to 60 min.

Features

Measuring channels

The system records oxygen, temperature and air pressure, with temperature measurement from 0.0..50.0 °C and air pressure from 300..5000 hPa.

Sensor versions

ResOx 5695-H is configured with GOEL 370 for gases with elevated CO2 percentage. ResOx 5695-L uses GOEL 381 for precise measurement above 35 % vol. or below 0.3 % vol. O2.

Pressure compensation

Pressure compensation is integrated in the gas path and compensates negative pressure in the package or on the sensor during measurement.

Manual data logging

Manual logging stores 1000 data records and includes measuring point input for structured measurement documentation.
