Temperature measurement points with bayonet fittings need a probe that seats quickly and holds its position reliably. This resistance thermometer is designed for Pt100 temperature measurement with bayonet connection and is suitable for standard measuring temperatures from -70°C...+300°C, with high-temperature versions up to +500°C or +600°C available by request.
The platinum measuring element supports accurate, reproducible readings and is available in tolerance classes AA, A and B according to IEC 60751. Embedded in magnesium oxide powder and hermetically sealed inside the protection tube, the measuring element benefits from good heat transfer and vibration protection.
The PTM can be adapted to the measuring point with 1x Pt100 or 2x Pt100 sensor versions, 2-, 3- or 4-wire configurations and bayonet diameters of 12.2 mm or 14.5 mm. A 1.4571 stainless steel probe, selectable cable materials and preferred cable lengths up to 5000 mm support practical integration in machines and process installations.
The product is available as 1x Pt100 in 2-, 3- or 4-wire configuration and as 2x Pt100 in 2- or 3-wire configuration
Bayonet versions include 12.2 mm and 14.5 mm variants. A version without bayonet and special designs are also listed.
The measuring surface can be configured as a flat 6 mm measuring surface or a 6 mm measuring surface with 120° geometry.
Connection cable options include PTFE for 1x Pt100 versions and glass silk with steel mesh for 3-wire versions.
The sensor probe is specified in 1.4571 stainless steel as the preferred material.
Preferred cable lengths are 1000 mm, 2000 mm and 5000 mm. The preferred probe length is 30 mm, with special lengths available.
