Flush weld temperature points need a compact sensor design that measures directly at the process connection without compromising accuracy. PTB resistance thermometers use standardized platinum measuring elements for Pt100 temperature measurement, with Pt1000 and other elements available by request.
The sensing element is embedded in magnesium oxide inside the protective tube and hermetically sealed, supporting heat transfer and vibration protection. Standard measuring temperatures at the probe tip cover -70°C...+300°C, with high-temperature versions for +500°C/+600°C and low-temperature versions available by request.
Configuration options help adapt the sensor to the installation. The family includes 1x Pt100 in 2-, 3- or 4-wire circuits, tolerance classes AA, A and B according to IEC 60751, seamless stainless steel 1.4571 process-side materials, optional neck tube versions and connection options for terminal block, cable, valve plug or head transmitter.
The sensor uses a Pt100 platinum resistance element. Pt1000 and other measuring elements are available by request.
The product family supports 1x Pt100 in 2-, 3- or 4-wire circuits. Double and triple Pt100 configurations are listed in the source material.
The process connection is intended for G½" flush weld installation, including variants for TEM-10 or TEM-11 weld-in parts.
Versions are available without neck tube up to +85°C, with aligned stainless steel neck tube up to +200°C, or with a neck tube length by request.
Connection-side housing materials include aluminum, stainless steel, polypropylene PP and POM polyoxymethylene.
Connection variants are available for fixed-value 4...20mA or 0...10V transmitters, UTN-500 software programmable transmitters and PTN-600 PROFIBUS PA interface.
The family includes permanently mounted and changeable measuring insert versions, depending on the selected neck tube and configuration.
