High process temperatures demand pressure measurement that keeps the electronics protected while staying close to the medium. Precont S70 uses special diaphragm seals to transfer the system pressure from the metal diaphragm through an oil filling to the measuring cell, extending the permitted media temperature range up to -90 °C...+400 °C.
The sensor supports relative and absolute pressure measurement up to 400 bar and is suitable for process engineering, high-temperature applications and hygienic applications. Different filling oils, including medical white oils, food oils and high-temperature oils, allow the configuration to be matched to the application.
For flowing or highly viscous media, pipe diaphragm seals integrate into the process line without dead spaces or obstacles in the flow direction. The rotatable electronics, bright LED display, quick adjustment by key combinations and password protection make setup and operation practical on site.
The system pressure acts on a metal diaphragm and is transferred by an oil filling to a ceramic or metallic measuring cell.
Versions include 2-wire 4...20 mA electronics and 3-wire 0...10 V electronics, with display and PNP switching output options depending on configuration.
The device offers quick adjustment by key combinations, menu-guided adjustment via LED display and password protection against changes.
The order key includes threaded, flange, DIN 11851, Varivent®, DRD, Tri-Clamp and pipe diaphragm seal process connections.
Connection housings are available in stainless steel or plastic materials, with terminal compartment, M12x1 plug or cable connection options.
The housing is specified with ingress protection (IP65) / ingress protection (IP67) according to EN/IEC 60529.
