Hygienic pressure and level measurement needs a sensor that fits the process without creating avoidable cleaning risks. Precont S30 uses a front-flush, dead-space-free metal diaphragm and hygiene process connections such as milk pipe, Varivent and DRD, designed according to EHEDG recommendations.
The sensor measures absolute pressure, relative pressure and vacuum across ranges from -1 to 25 bar. Process temperatures up to +150 °C make it suitable for CIP and SIP cleaning, while wetted parts in stainless steel 1.4435/316L support use in demanding food applications.
On site, setup and operation stay practical. A bright 4-digit LED display helps with programming and allows readings to be seen from a distance. Depending on the configuration, the sensor provides 4–20 mA 2-wire or 0–10 V 3-wire output signals, with optional 2 freely adjustable PNP switching outputs. The electronics rotate through 330 degrees for easier alignment after installation.
Measures absolute pressure, relative pressure and vacuum for pressure and level applications in the -1 to 25 bar range.
Available with process connections including milk pipe, Varivent, DRD and G 1" front-flush versions.
Configuration is possible via key combinations or menu-guided adjustment through the LED display, depending on the version.
Versions with 2 PNP switching outputs allow free adjustment; one output can be assigned as a fault signal output.
The electronics can be rotated by 330 degrees to align the housing and display after mechanical installation.
A password function protects settings against unintended changes during operation.
The diaphragm and process connection use stainless steel 1.4435/316L, with sealing options including FPM, EPDM and silicone.
