In demanding industrial pressure measurement, stable readings and rugged construction matter as much as the measuring range. Precont S20 measures gauge pressure, absolute pressure and vacuum in liquid and gaseous media from -1...1000 bar, giving engineers one sensor family for many pressure tasks across industrial measurement applications.
The metal membrane withstands pressure shocks up to 6 times the nominal pressure and offers vacuum resistance, good reproducibility, low hysteresis and strong long-term stability. Measuring accuracy is available down to ≤ ±0.15% FS, supporting dependable process insight where pressure values influence safety, quality or machine behavior.
Commissioning and daily use stay practical on site. A bright 4-digit LED display makes the current pressure easy to read from a distance, while the electronics can be rotated by 330° for better viewing and access. Depending on configuration, the sensor provides 4...20 mA 2-wire or 0...10 V 3-wire output, combined with up to 2 freely adjustable PNP switch outputs.
Measures liquid and gaseous media and supports gauge pressure, absolute pressure and vacuum applications within the configured pressure range.
