Hygienic and aseptic processes place high demands on every pressure measurement point. This pressure transmitter and pressure switch is designed for applications in the food and beverage industry, pharmaceutical production, biotechnology and sterile process technology, where cleanability and stable readings are both essential.
The flush metallic diaphragm supports pressure measurement in viscous, pasty, adhesive, crystallizing, particle-laden and contaminated media. Its optimized process connection allows process-integrated cleaning of the wetted measuring diaphragm, while the device is well suited for CIP/SIP cleaning conditions with cleaning solutions and elevated temperatures up to +150 °C.
Daily operation is clear and flexible. The graphic color display, keypad, rotatable housing and rotatable display simplify handling in different mounting positions. With 0/4…20 mA or 0…10 V output, up to 4 PNP switch outputs and memory for over 500,000 measured values, the device combines process signaling, switching and local measurement history.
The device uses a DMS piezoresistive sensor with a process-wetted metallic diaphragm in 316L.
Available connections include G1"B flush-mounted thread, dairy pipe, Varivent N and DRD process adapters for hygienic installations.
The product family covers finely graduated pressure ranges from 0…100 mbar to 0…25 bar, plus selected vacuum ranges.
Electronics versions provide one analog current or voltage signal, with variants for 2 or 4 PNP switch outputs and 24 VDC supply.
The integrated memory records more than 500,000 measured values. A battery-backed version adds time stamp logging.
A graphic color display and keypad provide local indication and configuration. The housing and display can be rotated.
The device is specified with ingress protection (IP65/IP67) according to EN/IEC 60529 and ambient temperatures from -20 °C to +70 °C.
Integrated diagnostic functions support system analysis during commissioning and operation.
