Stainless steel pitot tubes

PITOT-T

Pitot tube for air speed measurement, with 300 or 400 mm nominal length, 3 or 5 mm measuring tip, 3 or 8 mm shaft and AISI 316 stainless steel construction for use up to max. 600 °C.

Introduction

Air speed measurement at elevated temperatures calls for a probe that keeps the setup simple and the mechanical design clear. This Prandtl Pitot tube family supports measurements in applications up to max. 600 °C, giving users a practical option for demanding air flow points.

Two versions cover different installation depths and probe geometries: a 300 mm variant with 3 mm measuring tip and 3 mm shaft, and a 400 mm variant with 5 mm measuring tip and 8 mm shaft. This makes it easier to select the right mechanical fit for the measuring point.

The stainless steel design in AISI 316 gives the PITOT-T family the material strength expected in industrial air speed measurement. Each version is defined by nominal length, measuring tip diameter and shaft diameter, helping engineers specify the probe without ambiguity.

High-temp use
All variants are suitable for applications up to max. 600 °C.
Choice of lengths
Select 300 or 400 mm nominal length to fit the measuring point.
Stainless steel
AISI 316 construction supports use in industrial air flow setups.
