combined pH electrode for aggressive media

pH141

Combined pH electrode for scrubber and process chemistry applications, measuring 0..14 pH in aggressive media with -5..+70 °C working temperature, 6 bar max. pressure, S8 connection and PG13,5 process connection.

Introduction

Aggressive media such as hydrofluoric acid require an electrode built with the right glass from the start. This combined pH electrode uses special membrane glass that allows use with HF and is specified for scrubber and process chemistry applications.

The electrode measures 0..14 pH and uses an Ag/AgCl reference system with 3 mol/l KCL-Gel and 1 x ceramic diaphragm. Operating limits for HF depend on pH value and F-concentration: 300 ppm at pH 2, 1000 ppm at pH 3, 6000 ppm at pH 4 and no limitation from pH ≥5 at 20°C.

For integration, the electrode provides a PG13,5 process connection, S8 industrial electrical connection and a 240 mm shaft length according to the ordering code. It operates at -5..+70 °C, up to 6 bar and with media conductivity from 150 µS/cm.
