Introduction

Worker exposure assessment is easier when measurements, profiles, workers, machines and PPE data stay in one structured project. NS1 Workers Protection Module supports consultants and safety teams in noise and vibration risk assessment inside a company, with guided workflows for daily and weekly exposure evaluation.
 
The software manages homogeneous groups of workers and supports task-based and job-based analysis according to ISO 9612. It integrates global data and time histories, provides masking functions for abnormal noise events, and automatically recognizes constant, cyclical, fluctuating and impulsive noise sources with conformity checks to UNI 9432.
 
PPE selection is built into the workflow through customizable databases, real-time attenuation display and SNR, HML and OBM calculation methods. Extended uncertainty can include instrument, positioning and sampling components according to ISO 9612, while automatic reports, charts and summary tables help identify workers most at risk.
