Radiometric probe for outdoor UVA irradiance monitoring

LPUVA03

Radiometric probe for outdoor UVA irradiance monitoring, with UVA spectral measurement, mV, 4...20 mA, 0...10 Vdc or RS485 MODBUS-RTU output and diffuser with protection dome.

Introduction

Outdoor UVA monitoring needs a probe that can stay exposed while keeping the signal easy to integrate. LPUVA03 measures irradiance in the UVA spectral region and is part of the LP...03 series for outdoor photometric and radiometric measurement.

The probe is individually calibrated, with the calibration factor shown on the housing for the mV version. Output options cover simple and automated systems: passive mV output without external power supply, normalized 4...20 mA or 0...10 Vdc output, and RS485 MODBUS-RTU for digital networks. The 0...1 Vdc output is also available on request.

Every LP...03 probe includes a diffuser for cosine correction, a protection dome and an M12 male connector. Versions with normalized outputs or RS485 require external power supply, while available cable lengths of 2, 5 or 10 m support flexible installation in monitoring setups.

Features

UVA irradiance measurement

The probe measures radiometric UVA irradiance as part of the LP...03 outdoor probe series.

Output versions

Versions are available with mV output, normalized current or voltage output, and RS485 MODBUS-RTU communication.

Passive mV version

The mV output version requires no external power supply and uses the calibration factor marked on the probe housing.

Normalized output versions

Current and voltage versions provide standard output signals for connection to acquisition or automation systems.

RS485 communication

The RS485 version supports MODBUS-RTU communication and requires address and parameter setting before network connection.

Mechanical design

The probe is equipped with a diffuser for cosine correction, protection dome and M12 male connector.
