Light measurement tasks often differ from one job to the next: lux measurement in workplaces, luminance checks, PAR assessment for plant-related applications or UV irradiance verification. The LP471 family gives portable instruments the right sensing head for each task, with dedicated photometric and radiometric probes for illuminance, luminance, PAR, solar irradiance, UVA, UVB, UVC, UV-BC and blue-light measurement.
Users can work with application-specific spectral responses instead of one general-purpose sensor. Selected probes follow the standard photopic response, measure PAR from 400…700 nm, or cover UV ranges such as UVA 315…400 nm and UV-BC 210…355 nm. Cosine-corrected diffusers support correct incident-light measurement, while SICRAM modules allow compatible portable instruments to recognize the probe and use the stored calibration data.
The family includes probes for illuminance with standard photopic spectral response and luminance measurement in cd/m2.
Quantum-radiometric probes measure photon flux in the PAR field from 400…700 nm for chlorophyll-related applications.
Dedicated variants cover UVA, UVB, UVC and UV-BC spectral ranges, with variant-specific peaks and measuring ranges.
The family includes a probe for global solar irradiance measurement with a spectral response suited to solar radiation checks.
The LP471BLUE variant measures effective irradiance in the blue-light spectral band from 380 nm…550 nm.
