Conductivity Cell

LF2553

Conductivity cells for ultrapure water in VARIVENT® inline cases, measuring 0..0.5 µS/cm up to 0..50 µS/cm with C = 0.1, FDA compliant materials, Pt1000 and head or field mounting.

Introduction

Ultrapure water applications in the food industry need a measuring cell that is sensitive at very low conductivity levels and suitable for hygienic process environments. The LF1553 / LF2553 family is designed as a 2-electrode ultrapure water cell for VARIVENT® inline cases.

The family covers measuring ranges from 0..0.5 µS/cm up to 0..50 µS/cm with a cell constant of C = 0.1, with the exact cell constant labelled on the type plate. Integrated Pt1000 temperature measurement according to DIN IEC751, class A, supports accurate process evaluation at the measuring point.

For demanding cleaning routines, the cells operate at -10..+120 °C and are CIP-/SIP-capable up to 140 °C for less than 1 hour. FDA compliant process materials, including stainless steel 1.4404, PEEK and EPDM seals, support use in food industry applications.
