Keeping a defined flow rate in a compact pipe section should not require external energy or complex commissioning. This mechanical flow limiter regulates the flow through crossed stainless steel spring plates, which open or close an annular gap according to the flow rate.
The metal design suits water and viscous media up to 30 mm²/s, with fixed H2O regulating quantities from 1 to 30 l/min. It operates at a differential pressure of 1.5...10 bar and withstands media temperatures from 0...+300 °C, making it suitable for demanding process conditions.
Installation stays straightforward because the unit can be mounted in any position. Versions are available for DN 15 with G1/2 female thread and DN 20 with G3/4 female thread, with nickel-plated CW614N brass or 1.4301 stainless steel as the wetted housing material.
Two crossed stainless steel spring plates adjust an annular gap behind them, opening or closing it according to the flow rate.
The family covers DN 15 with G1/2 female thread and DN 20 with G3/4 female thread.
Fixed H2O quantities are available from 1 to 30 l/min, with tolerances specified by the selected quantity.
The flow limiter is specified for water and viscous media up to 30 mm²/s.
The brass version uses nickel-plated CW614N with 1.4310 and 1.4122. The stainless steel version uses 1.4301, 1.4310 and 1.4122.
Available options include female thread on the inlet side with male thread on the outlet side, special quantities and selection.
