Introduction

Bringing existing current-output transmitters into the HD31 measurement workflow is straightforward with this SICRAM module. It measures direct current signals from 0...24 mA, making it suitable for acquiring the output of active or passive current transmitters in field and process-related measurement tasks.
 
For clearer analysis, the connected instrument can define a linear correspondence between the acquired current value and the related physical quantity. This means users can display and store the transmitter’s process value directly, alongside or instead of the raw mA signal.
 
The module keeps integration practical: the input impedance is 25 Ω, and the 0...24 mA range covers common analog current outputs used in industrial measurement setups.
