Oil flow monitoring becomes easier to secure when the switching point stays usable across changing viscosities. HR2VK1 is built for liquid oil applications and uses a spring-supported piston with magnetic actuation of a reed switch. It covers switching ranges from 10...120 l/min for oil with 30...330 mm²/s viscosity, with a mean viscosity deviation of ±7 % and a maximum deviation of 18 % from full scale.
The robust construction is available in brass or stainless steel, with G 1 1/4 to G 2 female threads for DN 32, DN 40 and DN 50 lines. IP65 protection, media temperatures from -20...+120 °C and pressure resistance up to PS 200 support use in demanding industrial installations. Optional signal lamps, M12x1 connection, rhodium contact and up to four switching heads add flexibility for plant-specific configurations.

A straight calming section of 5 x DN is recommended at the inlet and outlet, and filters for contaminated media.
