Reliable microclimate assessment depends on choosing the right probe set for the index you need to calculate. The HP3217 family gives HD32.3TC users matched probes for temperature, relative humidity, wet bulb measurement and indoor air quality parameters.
For comfort and heat-stress work, HP3217.2R and HP3217R measure relative humidity and air temperature with capacitive RH and Pt100 sensors, while HP3217DM combines double natural ventilation wet bulb and dry bulb temperature measurement. The family supports PMV, WBGT, Heat Index, UTCI, TEP and surface decay assessments when used with the required HD32.3TC probe combinations.
For IAQ checks, HP3217B4 adds CO2, temperature, relative humidity and atmospheric pressure in a direct-connection SICRAM probe. HP3217BV4 adds VOC Index calculation for relative qualitative monitoring of volatile organic compounds.
HP3217.2R and HP3217R are combined relative humidity and temperature probes with SICRAM module for HD32.3TC measurement.
HP3217.2R uses direct connection with a Ø 14 mm, 150 mm stem. HP3217R has a Ø 14 mm, 110 mm stem and 2 m cable.
HP3217DM combines a double natural ventilation wet bulb probe with a dry bulb temperature probe for microclimate measurement.
HP3217B4 measures CO2, temperature, relative humidity and atmospheric pressure. HP3217BV4 adds VOC Index calculation.
The probes use the SICRAM module interface, which allows the HD32.3TC to recognize connected probes automatically when switched on.
