Weighing just 25 grams, this accelerometer features an exceptionally lightweight design that minimizes mass-loading effects, ensuring that the vibrational behavior of light building materials is not altered during testing. It delivers a very high sensitivity across a targeted 5 g measurement span, which is perfectly combined with an extensive frequency response starting from a low 0.5 Hz and reaching up to 3 kHz. Thanks to this precise combination of physical and technical characteristics, the sensor is ideally suited for the accurate assessment of human annoyance caused by building vibrations.

Application specific mounting

The accelerometer offers flexible installation options to suit various testing environments, allowing for secure mounting either via a standard threaded stud or an optional adhesive mounting base.

For building vibration applications, a dedicated support is also optionally available, which is perfectly suited for measuring vibrations transmitted by floors and other vibrating surfaces.
