When space is tight but measurement quality still matters, compact transmitters make integration easier for OEM designs and monitoring systems. HD9817T transmitters measure relative humidity and temperature and calculate dew point, supporting HVAC applications, environmental monitoring, pharmaceutical storage, food transport and greenhouse automation.
The mechanical design is built for demanding environments. An IP65 AISI 304 stainless steel housing and a slim Ø 14 mm form factor support installation in ducts, pipes or protective radiation shields. Depending on model, length is Ø 14 x 138 mm or Ø 14 x 155 mm. The humidity sensor is capacitive with probe protection, and the temperature sensor is a Pt100 1/3 DIN element with a -40...+60 °C measuring range.
Electrical integration can match both analog and digital systems. HD9817T1R provides two 0...1 V outputs for 0...100% RH and -40...+60 °C, while HD9817T2R provides RS232C output (2400 baud, 8N1). The HD9817TVS version combines two 0...1 V analog outputs with a non-isolated RS485 MODBUS-RTU interface and M12 8-pole connector, and can associate the humidity analog output with either relative humidity or dew point.
Measures relative humidity and temperature and calculates dew point from humidity and temperature.
Humidity accuracy is ±1.5% (0...90% RH) / ±2% (90...100%) at T=15...35 °C, with 0.1% RH resolution.
Pt100 1/3 DIN temperature sensor covers -40...+60 °C with 0.1 °C resolution and ±0.2 °C ±0.15% of measured value accuracy.
Models provide dual 0...1 V outputs, RS232C output, or combined analog + RS485 MODBUS-RTU (HD9817TVS).
Depending on model, power supply is 5...35 Vdc (HD9817T1R) or 5...30 Vdc (HD9817TVS); HD9817T2R is powered from the PC RS232 port.
IP65 AISI 304 housing with ultra-compact dimensions Ø 14 x 138 mm or Ø 14 x 155 mm depending on model.
