Introduction

Indoor air quality checks need clear evidence, especially in occupied spaces where ventilation, comfort and productivity are under review. With the P37AB147 SICRAM probe, the instrument measures CO2, CO, relative humidity, temperature and atmospheric pressure at the same time, giving technicians one portable setup for schools, offices, factories and other indoor environments.

For HVAC verification and building automation audits, it also calculates dew point, wet bulb temperature, absolute humidity, mixing ratio, enthalpy, % Outside Air and Ventilation Rate. The calculation procedure can use CO2 or temperature, supporting checks aligned with ASHRAE 62.1 and Legislative Decree 81/2008.

The data logger stores 67,600 recordings for each of the two inputs in 64 blocks, with selectable logging intervals from 15 seconds to 1 hour. A backlit 160x160 dot matrix display, IP65 protection and about 20 hours of battery autonomy make it practical for field work, while RS232C and USB interfaces support data transfer to a PC.

Features

Calculated climate values

The instrument calculates dew point, wet bulb temperature, absolute humidity, mixing ratio and enthalpy from the measured humidity and temperature values.

Two SICRAM probe inputs

One input is dedicated to indoor air quality probes, while the second input accepts temperature and air velocity probes for hot-wire or vane measurements.

Programmable logging

Logging sessions can start and stop manually or by date and time. Stored files are organized in up to 64 blocks and can be managed from the instrument menu.

Air speed configuration

The menu allows selection of speed and flow rate units and entry of the section value used for flow rate calculation.

Statistical display

The FUNC key shows maximum, minimum and average values for the captured quantities and allows the statistical data to be reset.

Serial and USB interfaces

The instrument connects to a PC through RS232C or USB. The RS232C baud rate is selectable from 1200 to 38400 baud.
