Indoor wireless networks can lose range when rooms, distance or reinforced concrete walls sit between the logger and the base unit. This RF signal repeater bridges the HD35AP base unit and HD35ED data loggers, helping extend communication coverage without adding signal cables.
The device is designed for indoor use and uses an external whip antenna for RF transmission. Open-field range reaches 300 m or 180 m towards devices with internal antenna, depending on frequency band, and >500 m towards devices with external antenna. Several repeaters can be used in cascade to increase the distance further where the installation requires it.
Commissioning and service are practical on site. RF LEDs show whether data transmission was successful or failed, while the front PING button checks whether the base unit can be reached. Power is supplied by a rechargeable 2250 mA/h lithium-ion battery, an optional 6 Vdc adapter or a PC USB port.
The device acts as a bridge between the HD35AP base unit and HD35ED data loggers to increase wireless communication distance.
Models are available for 868 MHz, 902-928 MHz or 915.9-929.7 MHz systems, depending on the selected version.
The fixed whip antenna supports RF transmission in the selected frequency band.
LEDs indicate external power presence, battery charge level and RF communication status.
The front push-button connects or disconnects the repeater from the wireless network and supports the PING function for RF checks.
The mini-USB connector is used for configuration and firmware update, not for data download.
The housing supports removable wall mounting with the supplied wall support or fixed installation with optional flanges.
