Remote alarm module for wireless data logging alarms

HD35ED-ALM

Remote alarm module for wireless data logging alarms, with two bistable potential-free relay outputs rated max 1A @ 30Vdc, internal RF antenna, LED status indicators and battery power.

Introduction

Critical alarms should be visible where action happens, not only on a PC screen. This wireless remote alarm module adds physical output capability to the HD35 system, allowing alarm events from connected data loggers to activate external signaling devices or actuators.

Two bistable relays with potential-free contacts can be associated with alarm conditions through the HD35AP-S software. The module works with all HD35AP base unit versions and uses wireless RF communication, with 868 MHz, 902-928 MHz or 915.9-929.7 MHz versions depending on the model.

On-site status is easy to check. LEDs indicate alarm presence, battery charge and RF communication status, while the PING button helps verify whether the base unit can be reached. The internal Li-SOCl2 battery supports typical operation for 1 year, depending on how often alarm conditions are generated.

Physical alarms
Activate signaling devices or actuators through two bistable relays.
System compatible
Works with all HD35AP base unit versions in the HD35 wireless system.
Rated contacts
Switch external loads with potential-free contacts rated max 1A @ 30Vdc.
Local status
LEDs show alarm presence, battery charge and RF communication status.

Features

Relay outputs

Two bistable relays with potential-free contacts are available for association with alarm conditions in HD35AP-S software.

Wireless communication

The module connects to the HD35 wireless network and communicates with the base unit via RF transmission.

Connection button

A front push-button connects or disconnects the device from the wireless network and supports the PING function for RF checks.

Audible signaling

The internal buzzer sounds cyclically during alarm conditions, with beep patterns indicating relay 1, relay 2 or both relays active.

Battery operation

Power is supplied by an internal Li-SOCl2 not rechargeable battery, with typical battery life of 1 year depending on alarm frequency.

Installation

The ABS housing is designed for wall mount installation, with optional flanges for fixed installation.
