Workplace comfort and thermal stress decisions need more than a single temperature value. The HD32.1 is designed for microclimate analysis in workspaces, helping users capture the environmental parameters needed to assess whether an area is suitable for specific activities.
Three selectable operating programs adapt the instrument to the task. Microclimate Analysis measures wet bulb, globe, air temperature, atmospheric pressure, relative humidity and wind speed, then displays WBGT, Tu, WCI and average radiation temperature. Discomfort Analysis supports local comfort assessment using temperatures at head, abdomen, ankle and floor level, plus net radiation and radiant asymmetry. Physical Quantities mode extends the instrument to temperature, humidity, wind speed, light, CO and CO2 measurements with SICRAM probes.
Handling is built for multi-parameter field work. The HD32.1 has eight SICRAM probe inputs with automatic probe detection, an internal barometric pressure sensor, programmable logging with sampling interval and auto-start, plus RS232 and USB data transfer.
Program A measures wet bulb temperature, globe temperature, air temperature, atmospheric pressure, relative humidity and wind speed. It displays WBGT, Tu, WCI and average radiation temperature.
Program B measures air temperature at head, abdomen and ankle height, floor temperature, net radiometer temperature and net radiation. It displays radiant asymmetry temperature.
Program C measures temperature, relative humidity, illuminance, luminance, PAR, irradiance, wind speed, CO and CO2 with compatible SICRAM probes.
The instrument has eight inputs for SICRAM probes. Calibration settings are stored in the probe module, and probes are detected during instrument start-up.
A built-in barometric pressure sensor measures 600...1100 hPa with 0.1 hPa resolution and ±0.5 hPa accuracy.
Measurement sessions can be programmed with a sampling interval. Auto-start sets the initial date and time, and controls automatic start and end of logging.
The instrument uses a backlit 128 x 64 point dot matrix display with function keys, navigation keys, PRINT, MEM and SETUP controls.
The unit measures 220 x 180 x 50 mm, weighs 1,100 g with batteries, and has IP64 protection.
