Mechanical flow switch for oil circuits and high-pressure service

HD2F

Mechanical flow switch for oil circuits, covering 0.5..60 l/min with oils from 30..330 mm²/s. Reed switch output, IP65 protection and brass or stainless steel wetted parts support industrial use.

Introduction

Stable flow monitoring matters most where oil circuits, machine systems or process lines must react before flow drops too far. This mechanical flow switch monitors liquid or gaseous media with a spring-supported piston and magnetic reed switch, giving users a clear switching signal without complex electronics in the measuring section.

The family covers switching ranges from 0.5..60 l/min for oils from 30..330 mm²/s, with recommended Qmax values up to 80 l/min. Viscosity-stabilized behavior helps keep switching consistent across the specified oil viscosity range, while the switch point can be adjusted by moving the switching head along the housing.

Robust brass or stainless steel versions allow the device to match the medium and installation environment. Pressure resistance is PN 200, with an optional PN 500 version for brass models. IP65 protection, DIN 43650-A / ISO 4400 connection and optional M12x1 connector make integration practical in industrial assemblies.

Features

Mechanical piston principle

The device uses a spring-supported piston with magnetic actuation of a reed switch for flow-dependent switching.

Adjustable switching head

The switching value can be set by moving the switching head lengthwise, then fixing it with fastening screws.

Connection variants

Standard versions use female threads from G 1/4 to G 1. Other connection types are available on request according to the source.

Electrical connection

The standard electrical connection is a DIN 43650-A / ISO 4400 plug. An M12x1, 4-pin round connector is available as an option.

Display options

The family can be configured without mechanical indication or with side or front measuring indication, depending on the selected option.

Switching options

Options include red or red/green signal lamp in the plug, additional switching head and alternative switching contacts listed in the source.
