Comparing two temperature points in the same process should not mean switching probes or instruments. The HD2127 family measures two channels at once and calculates the A-B temperature difference, making it well suited for checks with immersion, penetration, contact or air probes.
The instruments support Pt100 probes with SICRAM module, direct 4-wire Pt100 sensors, 2-wire Pt1000 and 2-wire Ni1000 probes. SICRAM modules store factory calibration data and are detected automatically at start-up, while the instrument provides 0.01°C resolution within ±199.99°C and instrument accuracy of ±0.01°C, excluding probe error.
For field documentation, both models offer a large LCD, MAX, MIN, AVG, REL and HOLD functions, RS232C transfer and IP66 protection. The HD2127.2 adds USB 2.0 and internal logging for up to 32,000 samples across channels A and B, with selectable intervals from 1s to 1hour.
Two 8-pole DIN45326 connectors accept temperature probes on channels A and B for parallel measurement.
The inputs work with Pt100 probes with SICRAM module, direct 4-wire Pt100, 2-wire Pt1000 and 2-wire Ni1000 probes.
The main display line shows channel A, while the secondary display line shows channel B or the A-B difference.
Factory calibration is available as standard, and user calibration can be carried out for each channel on one or two points.
HD2127.2 records measurement pairs in internal memory and retains stored data independently of battery charge conditions.
The instruments provide electrically isolated RS232C; HD2127.2 also includes electrically isolated USB 2.0.
The family operates with 4 x 1.5V AA batteries for 200 hours autonomy or with a 12Vdc mains adapter.
