Accurate portable temperature checks become easier when the instrument adapts to the probe and the task. The HD2107 family measures with immersion, penetration, contact or air probes and supports Pt100 3- or 4-wire sensors, Pt1000 2-wire sensors and Ni1000 2-wire sensors.
The instrument delivers 0.01 °C resolution in the range ±199.99 °C and 0.1 °C resolution across the remaining range, with instrument accuracy of ±0.01 °C excluding probe error. SICRAM probe modules store factory calibration data, so the instrument can recognize suitable probes automatically and apply the stored information during measurement.
For field work and documentation, the family combines a large LCD, MAX, MIN, AVG, REL and HOLD functions with IP66 protection. The HD2107.2 adds data logging for up to 80,000 samples, with selectable intervals from 1 s to 1 hour and transfer to a PC via RS232C or USB 2.0.
The instrument works with SICRAM probe modules and direct Pt100 4-wire, Pt100 3-wire, Pt1000 2-wire and Ni1000 2-wire probes.
Users can select °C, °F or K for display, printing and logging, depending on the measurement task and documentation format.
Factory calibration is provided as standard, and a user calibration of instrument and probe can be performed on one or two points.
The HD2107.2 records measurement blocks in internal memory and keeps stored data independently of battery charge conditions.
Measurements can be transferred in real time to a PC or portable printer via RS232C; HD2107.2 also supports USB 2.0.
The family runs on 4 x 1.5V AA batteries with 200 hours autonomy or on an external 12Vdc mains adapter.
AutoPowerOff turns the instrument off after about 8 minutes without key activity and can be disabled when needed.
