Portable light and radiation checks often involve different probes, units and measurement tasks. HD2102.1 - HD2102.2 gives technicians one handheld platform for illuminance, luminance, PAR and irradiance measurements across VIS-NIR, UVA, UVB and UVC applications.
The instrument recognizes SICRAM probes automatically at start-up and selects the measurement unit according to the connected probe. Factory calibration data is stored inside the probe, which reduces setup steps and supports consistent field work with LP471 photometric and radiometric probes.
For dose-related checks, the instrument calculates the time integral Q(t) of acquired measurements with menu-set thresholds for the integrated value or integration time. HD2102.2 adds data logging for up to 38,000 samples with single-channel probes or 14,000 samples with combined probes, plus RS232C and USB 2.0 transfer to PC.
The instrument works with LP471 probes for illuminance, luminance, PAR, VIS-NIR irradiance, UVA, UVB, UVC, UV-BC, blue-light effective irradiance and solar irradiance.
Probes use an automatic recognition module. The instrument identifies the connected probe at start-up and applies the corresponding unit of measurement.
The instrument calculates Q(t), the time integral of the acquired measurement, with selectable limits for integrated value or integration time.
Max, Min and Avg functions calculate the maximum, minimum and average values of the current measurements.
Both models provide RS232C output for real-time transfer to a PC or portable printer. HD2102.2 also provides USB 2.0 for PC connection.
HD2102.2 stores measurement blocks in internal memory with selectable logging intervals from 1 s to 1 hour.
The instrument operates with 4 1.5V AA batteries, with 200 hours autonomy using 1800 mAh alkaline batteries, or with a 12 Vdc / 1A mains adapter.
