Humidity and temperature checks are easier when one handheld instrument can adapt to different probes and measurement tasks. The HD2101.1 and HD2101.2 measure relative humidity and temperature with combined probes, while temperature-only measurements can be made with Pt100 or Pt1000 probes for immersion, penetration, air or contact use.
For wider insight on ambient conditions, the instrument calculates values such as absolute humidity, dew point, partial vapor pressure, wet bulb temperature, mixing ratio, enthalpy and comfort indices when a combined humidity/temperature probe is connected. Automatic probe detection reads factory calibration data from the probe module, reducing setup effort and helping keep measurements consistent.
For documentation and analysis, both models transfer real-time measured values via the RS232C serial interface. The HD2101.2 adds data logging for up to 38,000 samples, with selectable intervals from 1 s to 1 hour and USB 2.0 connection to a PC. The IP66 protection degree supports portable use in demanding measurement work.
With a combined probe connected, the instrument displays absolute humidity, dew point, partial vapor pressure, wet bulb temperature, mixing ratio, enthalpy and comfort indices.
The 8-pole DIN45326 connector accepts combined humidity/temperature probes and temperature-only probes with supported Pt100, Pt1000 or Ni1000 sensors.
The instrument provides Max, Min and Avg calculation, REL relative measurement, HOLD and selectable °C/°F temperature display.
The menu sets print and log intervals from 1 s to 1 hour. Immediate output is also available through the SERIAL key.
The instrument operates with four 1.5V AA batteries and can also use a 12Vdc / 1000 mA mains adapter.
