Pipe temperatures often decide the next service step in heating, sanitary, refrigeration and air conditioning systems. This clamp-on probe gives technicians direct surface temperature readings on pipes up to 30 mm, with a Type K thermocouple covering -65 ... +150 °C.
For confident readings on site, the probe uses Class 1 material to IEC 60584-1, with an accuracy of ±1.5°C or 0.40% across the measuring range. The clamp tips are designed to balance response speed and robustness, giving a T90 response time of approx. 3 s while staying suitable for constant contact with cold or warm pipes up to 150 °C.
Used with a suitable two-channel meter such as ECO 130.2 or PRO 131.2/135.2, two sensors can compare flow and return temperatures directly. Miniature flat plug and loose-end connection versions make integration straightforward.
The probe uses a nickel-chromium / nickel-aluminum Type K thermocouple according to IEC 60584-1 for surface temperature measurement on pipes.
The clamp design works with pipe diameters up to 30 mm and places the sensor tips in constant contact with cold or warm pipe surfaces. Total length of 170 mm.
The standard configuration uses a silicone cable with a diameter of 4 mm and a length of 1 m.
The cable can be terminated with a miniature flat plug or left as loose ends with ferrules.
With suitable display devices such as ECO 130.2 or PRO 131.2/135.2, two clamp sensors can measure temperature differences between two pipes.
