Humidity control depends on readings that fit the installation point, not only the measuring range. GRHU variants support wall mounting, duct installation, separated probe placement and open-air measurement with the heat absorption hat, giving planners one transmitter family for several monitoring layouts.
The transducer measures 0.0 ... 100.0 % RH with automatic temperature compensation. At 25 °C and within the recommended range, humidity accuracy is ±2.5 % RH, while the sensor head and tube cover -40 ... +100 °C, with short-term use up to 120 °C. This gives operators a clear technical basis for room, duct and outdoor humidity monitoring.
Setup remains practical on site. The device includes min/max memory, adjustable offset and slope, and scalable output. A 4-20 mA output is standard, with 0-10 V and 0-1 V analog options. The ABS housing and EN 175301-803/A elbow-type plug are rated IP65.
The 4-digit LCD alternates between humidity and temperature. With option UNI, the keyboard selects alternative values including wet bulb temperature, dewpoint temperature, enthalpy, atmospheric humidity or absolute humidity.
Standard and high humidity sensor options are listed. The high humidity option extends the recommended humidity range to 5.0 ... 95.0 % RH.
Sensor tube fitting lengths are available from 50 mm to 500 mm, with 50 mm standard for 1R and 220 mm standard for 1K and 2K versions.
The device uses 12 ... 30 VDC, or 18 ... 30 VDC for 0-10 V output. Reverse voltage protection is specified at 50 V permanently.
An encapsulated PC board option is available where temperature changes create condensation risk in the electronics environment.
