Water connections need a shut-off point that fits the installation, not the other way round. This valve family supports GEWAS 191 leak-water protection with versions for direct ¾ inch tap mounting and for fixed pipe installation with G ½, G ¾ or G 1 female threads.
For compact tap installations, the plastic valve uses glass fiber reinforced polyamide and is designed for up to 6 bar working pressure. Brass variants cover hand mounting and pipe mounting, with servo-controlled operation and working pressures up to 13 bar or 10 bar depending on the version. Pipe variants also offer higher flow capacity, with approx. 40 l/min, 90 l/min or 170 l/min.
The valves are suitable for water installations and drinking water applications. They connect to the GEWAS 191 control unit via an approx. 1.5 m cable and close the water supply when the control unit detects a leak.
The family includes a plastic valve for ¾ inch tap mounting, a brass hand-mounting version and brass pipe-mounting valves with G ½, G ¾ and G 1 female threads.
Each valve connects to the GEWAS 191 control unit with an approx. 1.5 m cable. Pipe-mounting brass versions use a valve plug connection.
The valve opens when the specified pressure difference between inlet and outlet is available and closes when de-energized.
The tap-mounting plastic valve uses glass fiber reinforced polyamide. Brass versions are available for hand mounting and pipe mounting.
Pipe-mounting versions are specified with connection sizes and dimension tables for G ½, G ¾ and G 1 installations.
