Dissolved oxygen handheld meter for logged water profiles

GMH 5650

Dissolved oxygen handheld meter for logged water profiles, measuring 0.00 ... 70.00 mg/l, 0.0 ... 600.0 % O2 and depth up to 40.0 m, with data logger, alarm function and adjustable 0 ... 1 V output.

Introduction

Field measurements become more valuable when oxygen readings, temperature, pressure and depth can be recorded together. GMH 5650 measures dissolved oxygen in water and adds data logging, alarms and depth-related functions for structured monitoring in aquaculture, aquaria, well water, sewer systems and wastewater treatment plants.

The integrated pressure sensor compensates ambient pressure for oxygen concentration, saturation and calibration. With the TMV 3600 depth measuring assembly, the instrument can also evaluate measuring depth with 0.1 m resolution, making oxygen profiles in lakes or wastewater easier to document with the logger function.

Built for portable use in demanding environments, the IP65 / IP67 housing includes a protective silicone case and an illuminated double display. The cyclic logger stores up to 10,000 data sets, while the single-value logger stores up to 1000 records with measuring point input. Separate alarm channels for oxygen and temperature support clear limits during field checks.

Profile logging
Record oxygen profiles with depth up to 40.0 m using TMV 3600.
Large logger memory
Stores up to 10,000 cyclic data sets or 1000 single records.
Alarm control
Separate alarm channels monitor oxygen and temperature thresholds.
Field-ready housing
IP65 / IP67 protection with silicone case supports harsh environments.

Features

Dissolved oxygen measurement

The instrument calculates oxygen concentration, oxygen saturation and oxygen partial pressure from the sensor signal and temperature.

Depth measurement option

With the TMV 3600 accessory, the pressure sensor evaluates hydrostatic measuring depth with 0.1 m resolution.

Logger operating modes

The logger records single measurement sets manually or cyclic data sets at selectable intervals from 0:01...60:00 minutes:seconds.

Analog output

The universal output can be configured as an adjustable 0 ... 1 V analog output related to concentration or the selected oxygen display setting.

Calibration modes

The meter supports 1-point calibration and 2-point or 3-point calibration using air, oxygen, nitrogen or corresponding saturated water references.

Salinity correction

The configuration menu allows salinity correction from 0.0 ... 70.0 for water-based media with chemical content similar to sea water.
