Reliable oxygen checks in water need a meter that is easy to carry, clear to read and ready for demanding field work. GMH 5630 measures dissolved oxygen in water together with temperature and absolute pressure, helping users assess oxygen concentration, saturation and partial pressure directly on site.
The instrument is well suited to aquaculture, aquaria, well water testing, sewer systems and wastewater treatment plants. Its integrated pressure sensor automatically compensates for environmental pressure, while salinity correction supports measurements in water-based media with salt content similar to sea water.
Designed for portable use in harsh environments, the waterproof housing offers ingress protection (IP) IP65 / IP67 and includes a protective silicone case. The large illuminated double display, min / max / hold functions and Auto Hold make routine measurements easier, while the GWO 5610 oxygen sensor responds to 90 % in 10 s.
The instrument calculates oxygen concentration, oxygen saturation and oxygen partial pressure from the sensor signal and temperature.
The meter records sensor temperature and absolute pressure as additional channels alongside dissolved oxygen.
The main display can show oxygen concentration in mg/l or ppm, oxygen saturation in % O2 or oxygen partial pressure in hPa or mmHg.
The configuration menu allows salinity correction from 0.0 ... 70.0 for water-based media with chemical content similar to sea water.
The waterproof 4-pole connection supports a serial interface via USB 5100 and external 5 V supply with suitable adapter cables.
Min / max, hold and Auto Hold functions are available for capturing and reviewing measured values during portable operation.
