Oxygen measuring devices for dissolved oxygen in liquids

GMH 36x1

Oxygen measuring devices for dissolved oxygen in liquids measure O2 concentration, saturation and partial pressure from 0.00 ... 70.00 mg/l and 0.0 ... 600.0 % O2, with automatic pressure and temperature compensation.

Introduction

Reliable dissolved oxygen checks start with stable measurement conditions. The GMH 36x1 family measures oxygen concentration, oxygen saturation and oxygen partial pressure in liquids, making it well suited for field and laboratory tasks where water quality has to be assessed directly at the measuring point.

The devices support dependable readings with automatic temperature compensation via the sensor integrated in the electrode and automatic air pressure compensation via the integrated pressure sensor. Salinity correction can be set from 0.0 ... 70.0, helping users adapt oxygen concentration measurement to media with sea-water-like salt content.

Daily handling stays practical in mobile use. The impact-resistant ABS housing includes an integrated pop-up clip for table top or suspended use, while the 2 x 4 digit LCDs show the oxygen value together with temperature or pressure. Depending on the model, functions include serial PC connection, alarm, analog output and a data logger for oxygen profiles in water.

Features

Oxygen measurement values

The devices calculate oxygen concentration, oxygen saturation and oxygen partial pressure from the electrode signal and temperature.

Automatic compensation

Temperature compensation uses the sensor integrated in the electrode. Air pressure compensation uses the integrated pressure sensor.

Calibration functions

The family supports simple calibration in atmospheric air. GMH 3651 additionally offers 2- and 3-point calibration and calibration history.

Display and operation

The instruments use 2 x 4 digit LCDs and include min, max, hold and auto hold functions for mobile measurement tasks.

PC connection

A serial interface enables connection to a PC via electrically isolated RS232 or USB interface converters.

GMH 3651 outputs

GMH 3651 provides a 0 ... 1 V analog output and two alarms for oxygen and temperature with separate limits.

GMH 3651 logger

GMH 3651 supports cyclic and manual recording, including measuring point input and selectable measuring point texts or numbers.

Sensor construction

The GWO 3600 active membrane sensor has a PVC housing, Mini-DIN plug and selectable 4 m, 10 m or 30 m cable versions.
