Flowmeter for water and air with optional switch output

GK

Flowmeter for water and air flow measurement, covering water from 2...650 l/min and air from 0.02...37.5 Nm³/h, with DN 10...25 sizes, clear scale reading and optional reed switch output.

Introduction

Flow values should be easy to check directly at the line, especially when operators need a quick visual reference without additional electronics. This flowmeter uses a float in a transparent, conical measuring tube to indicate the volume flow on a large, clear scale. A setpoint indicator supports fast comparison with the desired flow value.

The product family covers water and gases, with ranges up to 650 l/min for water and 37.5 Nm³/h for air. Versions are available for DN 10..25, with cast iron Rp female threads or PVC solvent socket connections. PP and stainless steel floats support configuration for different measuring tasks.

For monitoring tasks, the flowmeter can be equipped with optional reed switches, while listed transmitters provide 0...10 kOhm or 4...20 mA output options. Depending on the version, operating pressure reaches up to 15 bar at 25 °C, and optional PSU measuring tubes extend the temperature suitability for selected configurations.

Features

Variable-area principle

A float moves in a transparent, conical measuring tube according to the volume flow. The flow value is read directly from the graduated tube.

Setpoint indicator

The integrated setpoint indicator provides a visual reference on the scale for comparing the current flow with the desired value.

Media and float variants

The family is configured for water or air applications. Float versions are available in PP or stainless steel, with magnetic variants for switching functions.

Measuring tube materials

Standard versions use PA 6-3-T measuring tubes. PSU measuring tubes are available as an option for selected pressure and temperature conditions.

Switching and transmitters

Optional reed limit switches are listed as normally open or normally closed versions. Accessories include 0...10 kOhm and 4...20 mA transmitters for compatible sizes.

Installation

The meter is designed for vertical flow from below. A straight calming section of 5 x DN is specified in the inlet and outlet, with filters recommended for dirty media.
