CO checks in workplaces, heating systems and service areas need a meter that is quick to read and clear when limits are approached. The GCO 100 measures carbon monoxide in ambient air up to 1000 ppm and supports selectable display units for ppm, mg/m3 and %COHb, making it suitable for air quality control, heating system checks, maintenance work and exhaled breath estimation.
The adjustable alarm warns optically and acoustically when the set limit is reached, while the separate MAK indication signals exceeding of the maximum working place concentration. MAX and Hold functions help document short-term peaks during inspections, and the 11 mm high 4½-digit LC display keeps values easy to follow on site.
Built for portable control tasks, the instrument uses an electrochemical CO measuring cell with <±5 % of measured value ±1 digit linearity in the 0 ... 500 ppm range. The impact-resistant ABS housing, front side IP65 protection, integrated pop-up clip and battery operation with >1500 operating hours support practical field use.
The integrated measuring cell records CO concentration through the front measuring inlet and supports diffusion measurement in ambient air.
The 4½-digit LC display shows current, frozen or maximum CO values. The display unit can be set to ppm, mg/m3 or %COHb.
The alarm function can be switched off, set with display and horn, or set to display only. The alarm boundary is adjustable in the selected unit.
Dedicated keys store the maximum measured value since power-on or freeze the current value in the display for reading and documentation.
A serial interface enables connection to a PC via an electrically isolated RS232 or USB interface adapter for data transfer.
The impact-resistant ABS housing includes a membrane keyboard, transparent panel and integrated pop-up clip for table-top, belt or suspended use.
