Bunsen burner probe for high-temperature flame measurement from +50 ... +1550 °C. Type S thermocouple wires with direct flame exposure, approx. 2s T90 response, V4A and ceramic tube, silicone cable and miniature flat plug.

Introduction

For very hot measurement points, this Bunsen burner probe gives users a direct way to measure temperatures up to +1550 °C. The probe tip may be exposed directly into the flame, making it suitable for demanding high-temperature work where a standard probe would not be appropriate.
 
The type S thermocouple (Pt10Rh-Pt) covers +50 ... +1550 °C and responds quickly, with an approx. 2s T90 response time. A V4A tube with Ø 8 mm diameter, reduced Ø 5.5 mm ceramic tube, plastic handle, silicone cable and miniature flat plug provide a practical configuration for Bunsen burner temperature measurement. Loose ends and a 3 m cable are available as non-default options.

The probe uses a type S (Pt10Rh-Pt) thermocouple for temperature measurement from +50 ... +1550 °C.

Probe construction

The design combines a V4A tube with Ø 8 mm diameter and a reduced Ø 5.5 mm ceramic tube at the probe section.

Handle and cable

The probe includes a plastic handle and silicone cable (1 m standard length) for handheld use in the stated temperature application. A 3 m cable is available as a non-default option.

Connection options

The standard connection uses a miniature flat plug. Loose ends are available as a non-default option.
