In hygienic and aseptic liquid processes, dependable flow monitoring starts with a sensor that fits the process as cleanly as it measures. This flow and temperature transmitter is designed for food and beverage, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and sterile process applications, with a metal-sealing process connection that is dead-space-free and elastomer-free.
The calorimetric sensor monitors flow velocities from 3…300 cm/s and process temperatures from –20 °C to +110 °C. Short response times support responsive control, with T90 ≤ 6s for flow and T90 ≤ 4s for temperature. Digital electronics with RS485 Modbus®-RTU or IO-Link® make the device easier to integrate and adjust to demanding measurement tasks.
A fully welded stainless steel housing, ingress protection (IP69K/IP67) and process pressure resistance up to 40bar give the transmitter the resilience needed for CIP/SIP cleaning and tough plant environments.
The wear-free calorimetric sensor measures flow in liquids and also monitors process temperature.
Output versions include RS485 Modbus®-RTU or IO-Link® V1.1, depending on the selected electronics configuration.
The IO-Link® version includes one 0/4…20mA current output and two push-pull switching outputs.
The G½"A process connection uses metal sealing for hygienic, dead-space-free and elastomer-free process adaptation.
Sensor lengths of 30 mm, 50 mm and 80 mm are available for different installation requirements.
Wetted parts are made from stainless steel 1.4404/316L and 1.4571/316Ti.
Available options include LABS-free and silicone-free versions, laser TAG marking, EN10204 3.1 material certificate, factory certificates and customer-specific configuration.
