Liquid circuits need dependable monitoring before a dry-running pump, blocked filter or cooling failure becomes a process risk. This flow switch monitors flow velocity and temperature in liquids, making it suitable for cooling water circuits, pump function monitoring, leakage detection, lubrication circuits and filter monitoring in beverage industry applications.
The calorimetric sensor covers flow velocities from 3…300 cm/s and process temperatures from –20…+110 °C. It handles process pressures up to 40 bar and uses stainless steel wetted parts, with ingress protection (IP65/IP67) for demanding industrial environments.
On site, the device supports clear operation without extra tools. A bright LED display, function LEDs and a 3-button keypad with tactile feedback simplify setup, while the rotatable housing and display help maintain readability in different installation positions. Depending on the electronics version, outputs include 2x PNP, 1x PNP with 4…20 mA, or relay switching.
The sensor uses calorimetric measurement for wear-free monitoring of liquid flow and temperature.
Versions are available with ISO 228-1 G½" or G¼" threads, with ANSI NPT and M18x1.5 adapter connections on request.
The process connection is made from 1.4404/316L stainless steel, with a 1.4571/316Ti stainless steel sensor.
Wetted seals are available in FPM fluoroelastomer or EPDM, with EPDM listed as FDA-listed in the source.
The device uses an M12 connector with wiring versions for PNP switching, current output, relay output or Desina-compliant connection.
The order structure includes sensor lengths, electronics versions, seal materials and process connection choices for application-specific selection.
