Hygienic liquid processes need measurement you can install confidently, clean effectively and read clearly on site. This flow switch monitors flow velocity and temperature in liquids, making it well suited for food and beverage production, pharmaceutical processes, biotechnology and sterile process engineering.
The calorimetric sensor covers flow velocities from 3…300 cm/s and process temperatures from -20…+110 °C. A metal-sealing, elastomer-free and dead-space-free process connection supports hygienic adaptation, while the wear-free design can be used for CIP and SIP cleaning. Stainless steel wetted parts, process pressure resistance up to 40 bar and ingress protection (IP65/IP67) add reliability in demanding plant environments.
Commissioning and operation stay practical at the measuring point. The integrated electronics provide a digital display, function LED and tactile membrane keypad, with 24 VDC versions offering PNP switching outputs and optional 4…20 mA output. The housing and display rotate for easier operation in any mounting position.
The device monitors flow velocity in liquids using a wear-free calorimetric sensor and also measures process temperature.
A digital display, function LED and membrane keypad with tactile feedback provide local configuration and status indication.
The housing and display can be rotated to align operation and readability with the installed position.
Depending on the electronics version, the device provides PNP switching outputs, a 4…20 mA analog output or a relay output for universal voltage supply.
The standard process connection is ISO 228-1 G½, metal-sealing and elastomer-free, with stainless steel wetted materials.
Sensor lengths of 30 mm, 50 mm and 80 mm are listed for adapting the measuring point to the installation.
Factory calibration with certificate, EN10204 3.1 material test certificate and certificates for drinking water or food suitability are listed as options.
