ELECTRA SLC

Conductive level sensor for liquid level control with built-in electronics. It measures conductivity from 1-10 µS or 10-60 µS, provides SPDT relay output, supports SLC-10 and SLC-50 versions and uses AISI 316 electrodes.

Introduction

Liquid level alarms and actuator control become simpler when the sensor includes its own management electronics. This conductive level sensor controls liquid levels without auxiliary circuits, using built-in electronics and an internal relay for direct switching tasks.
 
The static design has no moving parts and works by measuring the conductivity of the liquid. Low potential and alternating currents help avoid electrode incrustation and tank perforation associated with galvanic action from direct currents. Versions cover 10-60 µS and 1-10 µS sensitivity ranges, with factory setting at 20 µS and adjustment via internal trimmer.
 
The family includes SLC-10 and SLC-50 configurations for different control tasks, including alarm and auto fill-up functions on SLC-50. AISI 316 electrodes, ABS housing, IP65 or IP56 protection and 24 / 230 Vac power supply support integration into industrial liquid level applications.

Features

Conductive measuring principle

The system measures liquid conductivity. Electrode contact with the liquid actuates a relay inside the control unit.

SLC-10 configuration

 SLC-10 uses one electrode with 100 mm length. It has an ABS housing of 110 x 110 x 65 mm and IP65 degree of protection.

SLC-50 configuration

 SLC-50 uses four electrodes with 500 mm length. It includes auto fill-up and alarm sections with separate output relays.

Sensitivity adjustment

Sensitivity ranges are 10-60 µS and 1-10 µS. Adjustment is made with an internal trimmer, with factory setting at 20 µS.

Power and output

The sensor operates from 24 / 230 Vac +10% at 50/60 Hz, with 110 Vac as an option. Output is SPDT 250Vac 6A.

Process materials

Electrode coating options include Polyolefin and Kynar. Process connection materials include brass, AISI-316 and polypropylene.
