Reliable liquid level control in industrial plants depends on probes that match the tank, medium and switching task. This conductive level probe supports applications with liquids from 1 µS conductivity and works in combination with ELECTRA VNR21.22 electronic control units.
The construction is designed for difficult industrial conditions. Up to 4 electrodes can be specified, with coated electrode options in Polyolefins, Kynar or PTFE. Hermetic construction with epoxy resin sealing and a minimum ingress protection (IP) rating of IP65 help protect the probe during operation.
Different materials and process connections make the probe adaptable to plant requirements. Electrode lengths are supplied in 500, 1000 or 1500 mm and can be shortened during installation according to the controlled level, with the ground electrode kept as the longest electrode.
The SL series operates with ELECTRA VNR21.22 electronic control units for liquid level control in conductive media.
Each probe can be supplied with 1, 2, 3 or 4 electrodes. The electrodes are available in standard lengths of 500, 1000 or 1500 mm.
Coating material options include Polyolefins, Kynar and PTFE. After shortening, the coating must be removed from the terminal part for about 1 cm.
Male thread options include 3/8", 1/2", 1" and 1-1/2", with Parallel UNI 228/1, Conical UNI 7/1 and Conical NPT thread types.
Process connection materials include Polypropylene, nickel plated brass and AISI-316, with additional options available on request.
The probe provides electrical output via DIN 43650 plug and has a minimum degree of protection of IP65.
