Level control in industrial plants often means dealing with different media, tight installation spaces and demanding operating conditions. This capacitive level sensor helps keep the process under control in liquids such as water, oil and gas, as well as powders and granular materials.
The sensor is built for dependable switching without mechanical wear points. Its no-moving-parts design supports stable operation, while the PTFE-coated Cu-Zn alloy electrode and hermetic polyurethane resin construction help protect the probe in difficult industrial conditions.
Installation can be adapted to the application, with vertical or horizontal mounting and available probe lengths up to 1000 mm on request. The sensor provides an NPN output, operates with 12 – 35 Vdc supply and offers DIN 43650 plug IP65 or M12x1 4-pole IP67 electrical connection options.
The SCV series controls the level of liquids and solids, with versions for H2O and conductive liquids or for oil and non conductive liquids.
The electrode is made from Cu-Zn alloy with PTFE coating. The sensor uses hermetic construction with polyurethane resin.
The sensor supports vertical mounting with L0 - 10 \pm 2 mm switch point and horizontal mounting on the axis of the probe.
The device provides an NPN output with 3 W maximum load, 5 mA current consumption and 12 – 35 Vdc power supply.
Fitting options include 1/4" and 1/2" male thread, with brass as a listed material and AISI-316 available on request.
Standard activation delay is 4 sec. Delay from 1 to 10 sec and differential from 0 to 5 mm are available on request.
