Core temperature checks in soil, compost and stored bulk goods need a probe that can handle resistance in the material. This robust agricultural thermometer uses an ergonomic T-handle and a Ø 10 mm stainless-steel probe to support reliable measurements in soil, compost, straw, wood chips and comparable bulk goods.
The SoilTemp probe is available in 620, 1000 and 1500 mm lengths, giving users the reach needed for different material depths. Its laser welded tip supports demanding insertion tasks, while the integrated Pt1000 2-wire class B sensor measures within the probe’s allowable range of -50.0 ... 250.0°C. A 1 m BNC probe cable connects the probe to the handheld instrument.
A 3-line backlit display, hold function, min/max memory and alarm function make values easy to read and track on site. The impact-resistant ABS housing, IP67 protection and ca 5000 h typical battery life with 2 x AA alkaline batteries support regular outdoor and agricultural use.
The GTF40-T probe has a Ø 10 mm stainless-steel body and is available in 620, 1000 and 1500 mm lengths.
The probe includes a T-handle for manual insertion into soil, compost and comparable bulk goods.
The probe connects to the handheld instrument through a fixed 1 m BNC cable.
The probe uses an integrated Pt1000 2-wire class B sensor for temperature measurement.
The 3-line display includes battery status, backlight, shatterproof screen protection and overhead display at the push of a button.
Hold freezes the displayed value during operation. Min/max memory records the minimum and maximum measured values.
