Accurate barometric pressure data supports better decisions in meteorology, environmental monitoring, cleanrooms, altitude applications and pressure compensation tasks. This barometric pressure transmitter uses a piezoresistive pressure sensor with integrated temperature sensor to deliver pressure values compensated over the full transmitter temperature operating range.
Confidence comes from stable, traceable measurement performance. The sensor is factory-calibrated in multiple points, offers a 300…1100 hPa measuring range and achieves ± 0.5 hPa accuracy from 700…1100 hPa at 20 °C, with long-term stability < ±1 hPa/year. For outdoor installations, an optional static port reduces wind-related measurement deviation to less than 0.3 hPa at 20 m/s.
The transmitter fits easily into sensor networks through RS485 with Modbus-RTU or ASCII proprietary protocol. Optional analog output, selectable pressure units, optional LCD display and optional combined T/RH probe input add flexibility for applications that also require relative humidity, temperature, dew point, absolute humidity or wet bulb temperature.
The transmitter measures barometric pressure with a piezoresistive sensor and integrated temperature sensor.
Pressure can be expressed in user-selectable units including hPa, Pa, kPa, mbar, bar, atm, psi, mmHg, inHg, mmH2O and Torr.
Models can include one analog output, configurable as 0/4…20 mA or as voltage, depending on the selected model.
An optional LCD display provides local reading of enabled measurement quantities on the transmitter.
Models with probe input measure temperature and relative humidity and calculate dew point, absolute humidity and wet bulb temperature.
The polycarbonate transmitter is wall mounted and uses an internal screw terminal header with PG7 cable gland for power supply and output.
