Demanding field measurements need probes that can take mechanical stress, heat and regular cleaning without slowing your work down. These rigid Type K insertion probes support temperature checks in liquid asphalt, bulk goods such as pellets, wood chips and compost, bagged grain and lightly compressed hay or straw bales.
Reliable readings are supported by class 1 thermocouple material, the highest available precision class for thermocouples, with measuring ranges up to -65 ... +550 °C for AX 131-I36 and -65 ... +250 °C for AX 131-I6 and AX 131-I8. The stainless steel stem resists corrosion and temperature and is suitable for continuous food contact.
For professional handling on site, the probes combine an ergonomic PA6-GF30 handle rated up to +120 °C with water protection IP67. Different stem diameters, probe lengths, cable types and connection options help match the probe to the measuring task and instrument.
Ø 3/6 mm, Ø 6 mm and Ø 8 mm stems cover asphalt, bulk goods, bale and food measurements.
The standard version uses a 1 m silicone-coated thermocouple cable. A coiled cable stretchable to 1.2 m, miniature flat plug or loose ends are available.
DAkkS-/ACCREDIA calibration certificates are available when the probe is combined with a suitable display instrument such as PRO 131 or PRO 135.
