Fast temperature checks in air ducts, ambient air or exhaust gas paths need a probe that reaches the measuring point without slowing the work down. AX 131-G probes use a compact Ø 3 mm construction and are optimized for fast ambient air and exhaust gas temperature measurements, including less accessible positions.
Reliable readings are supported by Class 1 thermocouple material according to IEC 60584-1, with an accuracy of ±1.5 °C or 0.40% across the valid range from -40 … +400 °C. The Type K measuring range covers -65 … +400 °C, giving one probe a broad working window for professional temperature tasks.
Built for regular field use, the sensor tube is made from rustproof, temperature-resistant AISI 316 stainless steel. The ergonomic handle withstands operating temperatures up to +120 °C, while cable choices include 1 m or 2 m silicone cable, a stretched 1.2 m coiled cable, miniature flat plug or loose ends.
The standard probe stem has a Ø 3 mm diameter and 180 mm length. Other lengths are available on request.
Open Construction ensures fastest possible response.
The stem is potential free and the tube provides protection against contact with the thermocouple.
