IIoT solutions - smart networking, flexible reacting

Integration of proven Senseca sensor technology via Modbus or IO-Link

Senseca offers a wide range of sensors and connectivity solutions for industrial applications that have been developed with a focus on efficiency and versatility.

MULTICON-H is a multi-channel sensor controller that integrates up to 6 sensors into a system or plant. The digital transmission of process, diagnostic and identification data is guaranteed in an integrated IIoT solution via Profinet©. This ensures the connection to the control and automation system, which supports service and quality management.

The CONDIX series sensors for conductivity measurement and the PHIX pH/ORP (ORP) transmitter are integrated into an IIoT environment via Modbus to the MULTICON-H.

The state-of-the-art OMNIPLUS and LABOPLUS transmitters from Senseca extend the tried-and-tested flow sensors with the intelligent IO-Link interface and offer unique ease of use for parameterization. Both series enable seamless IIoT integration for a wide range of applications and use a standardized M12 plug connection via IO-Link.

Connectivity via Modbus

Connecting sensors via Modbus is a proven method for transmitting sensor data in industrial automation systems. Modbus, a widely used protocol in industry, enables simple, robust communication between different devices such as flow, temperature or pressure sensors. The Modbus RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) variant offers stable serial communication

One advantage of the Modbus connection is the simple integration into existing networks and control systems. Sensors with Modbus support offer the possibility of directly accessing measurement data, which enables a quick response to process changes and optimized machine control. Modbus thus supports the implementation of efficient IIoT solutions that are able to monitor production processes, detect faults at an early stage and carry out preventive maintenance.

Connectivity via IO-Link

Connecting sensors via IO-Link creates new possibilities in industrial automation, especially in networked environments. IO-Link is a bidirectional communication interface that standardizes and simplifies the exchange of data between sensors and controllers. Users can not only read out measured values, but also control sensors directly, for example for calibration or new parameterization, which makes it easier to adapt to changing process requirements.

IO-Link also enables seamless integration into Industry 4.0 systems and provides diagnostic information in real time - ideal for predictive maintenance. Thanks to the simple three-wire wiring, IO-Link sensors can be integrated into existing networks cost-effectively and easily, making IO-Link a central protocol for flexible and future-proof IIoT solutions.

Our product highlights with Modbus connectivity

For easy integration into IIoT environments

Multichannel Sensor-Controller MULTICON-H

The MULTICON-H is a multi-channel sensor controller that integrates up to 6 sensors into a system or plant. The MULTICON-H offers automatic detection and Ethernet connectivity via the PROFINET protocol. This ensures the digital transmission of process, diagnostic and identification data to the control and automation system in an integrated IIoT solution for service and QM management.

ph/Redox (ORP)-Transmitter PHIX

PHIX is a digital transmitter that is mounted on pH or redox electrodes and converts a high-impedance, analog signal into a digital, interference-free value. The connection is manufacturer-independent, with standard VarioPin or coaxial connectors. PHIX offers a guided 1- or 2-point calibration with storage of the last 5 calibration results.

CONDIX digital conductivity transmitter

The CONDIX conductivity transmitter is directly and digitally integrated into the fieldbus level via the universal Modbus interface. This means that all levels up to the higher-level system can be integrated with a single bus cable, significantly reducing installation costs.
